Excellent know-how for a fun and rare visit!

The Cornille Havard Foundry is the heir to a long tradition of bell founders, established in Villedieu-les-Poêles since the Middle Ages.

In the heart of a unique 19th century workshop, where ancestral traditions are combined with cutting-edge technology, a hundred or so monumental bells are cast each year. Renowned for its excellence, Cornille Havard made the new bells for Notre Dame de Paris in 2013.

Come and experience and share the emotion of this unique place

At the end of the visit, you can ring a few melodies yourself with a mallet or listen to the carillon. This educational and entertaining visit ends with a visit to the thematic shop where you will find the best of local craftsmanship: bells, art foundry, weathervanes, culinary and traditional copperware, decorative and collector's items, jewellery, souvenirs...

Practice

Type of visit: Guided tour only, lasting about 30 min to 45 min. Without reservation for individuals.

Opening hours:

07/02 > 11/11: Tuesday to Saturday, from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 5:30pm
17/07 > 26/08: Every day, from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm without interruption
17/12 > 16/01: Annual closure
